Project Description

A guild website for World of Warcraft Mythic Raiding Guild “Exiles” based on Emerald Dream-Terenas (EU), with a focus on recruitment, and news updates.

Guild websites are often constrained by the design options offered by many free guild hosting sites, leaving them very little room for true artistic expression, and looking like 1999 with outdated forum systems.

Many guilds have moved to Discord, a service that offers free voice hosting and a home for instant messaging. The brief for this project was to create a guild website that would serve as the ‘face’ of the guild, and a contact point for new recruits, so that they could see the nature of the guild, before attempting to join the inner workings of one, by directly joining Discord to find out more, and saving them the difficulty of trying to contact someone in-game, without an idea of when they might be online.
